Guest Posting

Guest blogging is a method used by bloggers to increase blog traffic where bloggers write posts to be published on other bloggers’ blogs. Guest blogging can work in one of two ways:

You write a post to appear on another person’s blog.
Another person writes a post to appear on your blog.

Guest blogging is simple. You write a blog post that is relative to another site in the niche of your own site. The point of this is to
get your name out,
gain credibility,
build your resume
direct traffic
to your site by putting what is called a “backlink” into your author bio
to create a community within your niche.

The reason guest blogging currently has a high value is that Google seems to recognize it as a powerful means to get your website higher up on Google searches. The current buzz, however, is that Google has put many restraints on guest blogging due to the overuse of similar of content, and the abuse of poor content to advance writers through gaining backlinks.

There are many keys and tactful approaches to doing guest blogging well, and you must research how to do this, and find the best approaches for you in your niche. There are plenty of blogs that discuss how to blog and how to guest blog, so by simply searching for these sites, it would put you in the right direction to building your online reputation.

How many times should I guest blog? Do it as much as you can. 5-10 would be a great start. Don’t just do it on the same site as you want to take advantage of the traffic coming to each individual site. Move around, and if you like a certain site, try not to guest post more than maybe once every 3 months on that site.

Finally, be sure to follow up with your posts and answer comments. You should spend about as much time promoting your guest post as you spent writing it and contacting site owners for guest posting purposes.

Remember these two things:
1) Content is King
2) Social Interaction is Queen

The King and Queen make a great couple together.

On single website  or network of content websites the site publisher would usually set  a fixed pay per click rate.  Also called cost-per-click (CPC).

The most common form of PPC ads are displayed on search engine results pages (SERPs) above and to the right-hand side of the organic results in response to the users search term. They are clearly labelled as ‘Ads’ or ‘Sponsored Results’ to differentiate them from the organic listings.PPC advertising is very flexible and quick to set up in comparison to other types of online advertising. In future posts I will cover how PPC works, the set up process, ongoing management of your campaigns and some helpful tips and advice.

The quality of the ad and relevance to the keyword

The relevance of the website that users will end up on to the keyword and the ad
The click through rate of the ad (how many people click the ad compared to how many times the ad is displayed)

Moreover, link wheels have the ability to multiply your links count over a period of time. Previously, network websites were created in an effort to boost the ranking of particular websites but the problem with such websites were that they easily raised the suspicion because it looked very artificial as they did not follow any link wheel pattern but all of them just pointed to one website they targeted. Link building through link wheel is a refined version of network websites. It has proven to be the best link building strategy.

SEO ( Search Engine Optimization)

SEO stands for “search engine optimization.” It is the process of getting traffic from the “free,” “organic,” “editorial” or “natural” listings on search engines. All major search engines such as Google, Yahoo and Bing have such results, where web pages and other content such as videos or local listings are shown and ranked based on what the search engine considers most relevant to users. Payment isn’t involved, as it is with paid search ads.The term SEO is usually used when referring to organic SEO but is sometimes also used in a broader sense to encompass PPC services for which different optimisation techniques are required.

It is about getting a website to the top of search engines like Google so that it gets more visitors and may make more money. SEO services help to ensure that a site is accessible to a search engine and improves the chances that the site will be found and ranked highly by the search engine. SEO service providers offer a wide range of packages and options for search engine optimization, ranging from one-time fees for smaller sites to monthly subscriptions for ongoing SEO efforts and support. There are millions of different search engines all over the Internet. Of course, Google, Yahoo and MSN are some of the first to come to mind. But most websites have their own search engines. Anytime you see a little box that says ‘Search’, you’re looking at a search engine. When someone comes to the Internet looking for information, they type a word or phrase in that search box. That word is called a ‘Keyword’, and if it’s a phrase, it’s called a ‘Long tail Keyword hose keywords the searchers are using are important. When you tell your search engine you want information on ‘Puppies’ it goes away and searches for every page in the Internet that mentions the word ‘Puppies’. Every. Single. Page. The search engine then organizes all of those pages in order of their relevancy and gives the searcher a list of websites. This list is called an Index and it’s like the index of a book. It’s a list of every page on the Internet where you can find the word ‘Puppies.’The reason it’s so important for you to understand and implement SEO tactics is because if you don’t, your page won’t be included in that index.

Simply put, search engine optimization is the process of improving the quality and volume of web traffic to a website by employing a series of proven SEO techniques that help a website achieve a higher ranking with the major search engines when certain keywords and phrases are put in the search field. To put this into context, consider your own Internet search habits. When you want to find information, your first instinct is to use a search engine because it is the fastest and easiest way to get it. Once the search results are posted, you’re far more likely to explore the links on the first page of results because they are the most relevant to what you are looking for and allow you to find what you’re looking for easily. That is the goal of search engine optimization. To optimize your website so that the major search engines rank your site as highly as possible which, in turn, leads to a greater volume of qualified traffic. SEO can level the playing field for your business whether your business is a Fortune 500 company or a brand new business venture trying to get noticed in a competitive field. Done properly, SEO puts your site on the left side of the page where it gains instant credibility with the very people that you wish to reach. In the recent years, several organisations have made a beeline for “experts” that promise to make their site more visible through SEO. However, tech gurus insist that these “experts” should not be trusted as this is not something people outside Google can get to the bottom of.
